The Benneworth Lounge is situated at the rear of the Hall and has a separate access door, as well as being connected via a small ante-room to the Main Hall. It is able to accommodate smaller functions, typically for around 30 to 60 people. There is a bar, run by volunteers from East Bergholt Community Council, which may be booked in advance. There is no extra charge for having the bar, and details may be obtained by contacting the bar manager, Mr Alan Cross, on 01206 298233.
The room has ten round wooden tables, each with 4 carver style wooden chairs. There is also an upright piano that might be used by prior permission. There is a separate small "galley" kitchen area with washing-up facilities, suitable for making teas/coffees and light lunches . Disabled toilets are located at one end of the lounge.
Other tables are available to supplement those in the Benneworth Lounge by arrangement.
